December 2016 in Launceston

Published on 30 Nov 2016

Welcome to Summer!

Firstly, we wish to congratulate 'Mark and Jo' who have won 2 nights accommodation at Adina Place Motel Apartments for their donation in support of Marty's fundrising bike ride across Tasmania. Marty raised over $700 for Down Syndrome Tasmania, and we thank everyone who supported Marty in his challenging ride from Cradle Mountain - to Strahan - to Hobart.

Now that summer is here, we are fortunate we live in Tasmania. We can boast about our lovely warm summers that do not suffer from the sweltering heat experienced in most other parts of Australia.  But if the weather is not enough for you visit Tasmania this summer, perhaps some of these events this December will seal the deal!
